You will plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the business. It is important for the hotel manager to be involved in all aspects of the hotel operations. You will be just as responsible for dealing with complaints as for strategizing and preparing reports. Responsibilities

  • Supervise work at all levels and set clear objectives
  • Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
  • Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
  • Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
  • Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information, etc.)
  • Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi language is a plus

Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel. Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.

Job Description

Responsibility for purchase of all items as and when required. Quotation Comparison of rates between suppliers and final rate approval from the higher authority. Verification of the requisition slips from the outlets. Sending purchase orders to suppliers by email or fax. Make purchase orders after the final order is placed. To confirm whether the material has reached the destination or not. Making daily purchase report. The material follows up and Delivery tracking. Maintain all relevant records and Quotations. Lead time analysis for each route with the mode of Transport. Bills and challans submission to Accounts department. Market Survey from time to time for exact price of materials. Follow-up with the existing vendors and develop new vendors. Must conduct meetings with suppliers and negotiate for best rates and quality of products. To check on the brand of products purchased.


 

13. Housekeeping Executive – Goa

Job Description

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items. Make beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallway.


 

14. Front Office Associate – Goa, Thane

Job Description

  • Maintains the décor of the lobby.
  • Welcome the guests to the hotel as per appropriate time of the day ( Good morning / evening)
  • Register guest in the computer and generate a registration card.
  • Assign Guest Room number and explain the type of room.
  • Verify registration card information with the guest.
  • Inform guest of room safe and mini-bar key and room key procedures.

Captain – Takes food and beverage orders and execute them. Monitors and maintains high standard of quality and speedy service. Strictly adheres to the opening and closing procedures established for the outlet. Has a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu. Trains and coaches new recruits through on-the-job-training. Ensures that the service station and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times. Maintains and monitors operating supplies par stock and control spoilage and wastage. Handles all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on food, beverage and service. Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship. Ensures proper shift handovers in terms of (Pos Handling, CCG Handover. etc.)

Steward – Serves food and beverage orders. Provides high standard of quality and speedy service. Sets tables for different meal periods and reset them during high turnovers. Sends soiled and collects clean linen from laundry before and after lunch service. Prepares mis-en-place and performs side duties.
Sends and collects operating equipment for burnishing according to the schedules established by the Stewarding Department. Collects all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions. Assists in opening and closing procedures established for the outlet. Has a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu. Ensures that the service station and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
